Thomas (Tommy) Kline holds a Bachelor of Music with an Outside Field in Business degree from Ithaca College. His past teachers include Gordon Stout, John Riley, Tommy Igoe, Peter Erskine, Jeff Ballard, and Steve Brown.

Name Dropping
While at IC, Tommy held the drumset chair in the Ithaca College Big Band for three years and had the pleasure of performing with Gary Smulyan, Bob Sneider, Gordon Vernick, Hod O'Brien, Jeff Ballard, John McNeely, Joe Magnarelli, Vincent Herring, and John Mosca. Tommy's musical highlights include opening for Herbie Hancock at the State Theater, playing at the Lincoln Center in New York City, touring with the Ageless Jazz Ensemble to Aruba, and performing with the rock band "America."

Tommy performs over 200 gigs each year with a variety of national touring acts. Tommy is also an active educator with private studios throughout central Now York, and returns each summer to Ithaca College to teach jazz and percussion at the Signature Music Camp.
